Morning Muse 98 : The Eagle Within
Don’t live by others’ rules—trust your own voice, heart, and journey. Like an eagle raised among chickens, you may have forgotten your wings. Look within—your strength and sky are waiting.

Do not look in books for instructions on how to live your life—
for then, you may end up walking someone else’s road.
Life’s true compass lies within. Trust your own voice, think with your own mind, follow your own heart, and believe in your own dreams. Only you know what nourishes your soul and what path is meant for you.
Survival and success bloom when you are authentic—not to the world’s expectations, but to your own truth. The world will always try to hand you spectacles through which to see life, but if you wear them blindly, you’ll never see through your own eyes.
Once, a farmer found an eagle’s egg and placed it among his chickens.
The eaglet hatched, grew up with the hens, and lived like them. It scratched the earth for worms, flapped its wings clumsily, and never lifted its gaze beyond the barnyard fence.
One day, a naturalist visiting the farm saw the eagle and exclaimed,
“This is no chicken—it’s an eagle! It’s destined to soar in the skies.”
The farmer shook his head.
“No, he has lived among chickens all his life. He has learned their ways; he is one of them.”
The naturalist gently took the eagle to the barn roof, lifted it toward the sky, and said,
“Look up—you belong there.”
For a moment, the eagle trembled in fear. But then, catching sight of the vast horizon, something stirred within. With a sudden surge of power, it spread its mighty wings—and soared into the open sky, never to return to the barnyard again.
You were not born to live someone else’s life.
You were born to fly in your own sky.
Look within—your wings are waiting.
