Raj lived in a busy city. Just a few streets away, his childhood friend Sameer also lived. They often promised to catch up, but work, travel, and endless busyness kept getting in the way. “Tomorrow,” Raj would tell himself, “I’ll call him.” But tomorrow never came.

One morning, Raj received the news—Sameer had passed away. The words struck like lightning: just around the corner, yet gone forever.

In the rush of life, we often put off the simplest joys—like calling an old friend. “Tomorrow,” we say, “I’ll visit, I’ll call, I’ll write.” But days turn into weeks, weeks into years, and before we know it, life has slipped away. Affection delayed is often affection denied.

The warmth of love, friendship, and togetherness must be shared now, in the present moment—for tomorrow is never promised. The present moment is our true wealth—yesterday is gone, tomorrow is unseen, but today is in our hands.
