Morning Muse 86 : You Always Have Time for What You Truly Value

We often say, “I’m too busy,” but the truth is, no one is ever truly busy—it all comes down to priorities. How we spend our time reveals what our heart values most.
In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna teaches Arjuna that clarity of purpose aligns our actions with what truly matters, while distractions naturally fall away.
There’s a story of a wise monk visited by a villager who complained he had “no time” for meditation. The monk gave him a pot of water and asked him to carry it through the bustling marketplace without spilling a drop. The man returned an hour later, exhausted but successful. The monk smiled and said, “When something is important, you always find the focus for it. Life is the same—you always have time for what you truly value.”
So instead of saying, “I don’t have time,” ask yourself, “Is this truly my priority?” Life becomes peaceful when our time, energy, and values walk in harmony.
