Morning Muse 68 : The Non-Stick Mind: Letting Go of Life’s Burnt Residue
Like old pans that carry the taste of burnt food, a mind that clings to hurts spreads bitterness into every experience. Wisdom makes the mind non-stick — keeping joys fresh and pains from lingering.

Pleasant moments often fade quickly, but unpleasant ones can leave deep scars. Wisdom is what makes the mind non-stick.
Think of a frying pan. Before non-stick pans, pancakes would cling stubbornly, leaving burnt residue. If not cleaned, every new pancake picked up the bitter taste — unpleasant for you and for those you served.
Life works the same way. Events are like pancakes. When the mind holds on to every hurt, it keeps “cooking” in the same burnt residue, serving bitterness to yourself and others.
Clean your mind daily. Let wisdom make it non-stick — so joys remain fresh, and pains no longer cling.
