Morning Muse – Offer Nothing But a Smile
A smile is a glow on the face — warmer than any heater, brighter than a thousand-watt bulb. We are never fully dressed until we wear one. A smile can free someone from loneliness and always finds friends eager to return it.
Just as a flower offered to God becomes a symbol of gratitude — blooming in the fullness of life — a smile is the doorway to that same thankfulness. A flower without a smile is just an act, not a living offering.
In prayer, the true gift is the smile; the flower is only an accessory. Love and life flourish when we can smile at the trees, the road, the buildings, the sun, and the open sky.
