Morning Muse 246 : Son of God
True devotion is not in proclaiming faith, but in embodying love, compassion, and forgiveness in daily life. We honour the Divine not by praise alone, but by living those qualities ourselves.

To call oneself a devotee of Jesus Christ is easy; to live like him is rare. The true measure of devotion is not in declaration, but in the quality of one’s heart—especially in moments of pain.
On the cross, amid torture and humiliation, there was no anger, no hatred—only compassion: “They know not what they do.” That is saintliness. Not belief, but being. Not words, but response.
To say, “He was the Son of God,” is meaningful only if we understand what that implies. If God is truth, love, compassion, and purity, then one who embodies these qualities is indeed a child of the Divine.
The real tribute to Christ is not praise—it is practice.
If our devotion does not make us more loving, more forgiving, more compassionate, then it remains mere sentiment. True faith transforms character. It refines reactions. It softens speech. It deepens understanding.
Do not only admire the light.
Become a little of it.
