A young monk once asked his master,
“Why do I still feel restless, even though I try to do everything right?”
The master smiled and replied,
“Because you are still trying to become someone, not be yourself.”
That is where most of us begin to lose peace—in the endless chase to prove rather than to live. The moment you dare to be authentic and follow what stirs your soul, the journey of understanding truly begins. Life’s trials then stop feeling like punishments and start feeling like teachers.
Dreams are not meant to comfort us; they are meant to wake us. They push us beyond the familiar and into the unknown, where strength is born. Along the way, you will be praised, pitied, and criticized. Do not cling to any of it. The wise walk steadily, knowing that both applause and insult are echoes, not truth.
Opportunities seldom arrive—they are created. Begin where you are, even if the step is small. Life moves for those who move.
Above all, practice humility and forgiveness—the twin virtues of inner freedom. Humility opens doors that pride keeps shut. Forgiveness lightens burdens that anger makes heavy. Without them, success carries no peace.
In the end, I’ve learned this:
Failure grows heavier with excuses.
Success grows lighter with faith.
Faith is not waiting for miracles.
Faith is walking as though every step is one.
