Morning Muse 161 : Where Destiny Meets Free Will
Life blossoms when we accept the past as destiny and shape the future with free will. Peace arrives when responsibility meets surrender — when we act where we can and release what we cannot change.

Life, at its essence, is a delicate balance — between taking responsibility and letting go. Both are necessary, both sacred.
For the present and the future, we must act. We must choose, respond, create, and shape the path ahead with intention and awareness. But for the past, wisdom lies not in analysis or regret, but in acceptance. Everything that happened, happened because it had to — guided by forces we understood only later. When we stop wrestling with what cannot be undone, peace quietly returns.
Yet most of us live the opposite way.
We regret the past as though we controlled every moment, and we surrender the future to fate as if we control nothing. We grieve what has passed and procrastinate what is still possible.
The wise move differently.
They accept the past as destiny, and the future as free will. Anchored in the present, they neither cling nor drift. They act with clarity and rest with ease.
Happiness is not found in mastering life, but in balancing these two truths — doing what you can, and releasing what you cannot.
