Morning Muse 151 : The Power of Being Natural

To be natural is to live as your true self — without masks, pretence, or fear of judgment. When we trust ourselves and let life flow effortlessly through us, the mind relaxes and miracles unfold. Like nature itself, we don’t need to force or control; we only need to return to who we truly are.

"Be natural; then comes trust, then comes relaxation, then comes miracles."
~ Simon Heighway

To be natural is to be real. It means dropping all pretence, removing every mask, and living in harmony with what we truly are. Every spiritual path, every religion, in its deepest essence, points toward this simple truth — return to your own nature.

When we are natural, trust arises on its own. When there is trust, the body and mind relax. And in that state of ease, life begins to unfold like a miracle — spontaneous, alive, effortless.

We lose this magic when we try to maintain an image, when we perform instead of simply being. Alone and unseen, we laugh, sing, dance, and express freely. The moment we feel watched, the mask slips on, the natural self retreats, and the ego takes over. The genuine becomes rehearsed, and the spontaneous becomes controlled.

Nature reveals this truth with silent grace. A flower doesn’t force itself to bloom. A blade of grass doesn’t struggle to push through the concrete. Life expresses itself effortlessly through them because they trust the process.

Our deepest truth is not something to be created — only remembered. It is etched into every cell of our being, waiting to be lived. When we stop resisting and cease pretending, the divine within awakens quietly.

Today, drop the need to be anything other than yourself.
Breathe. Relax. Trust.
Let life flow through you — naturally.
