Innovator
Innovation & Vision
Colonel Prakash Tewari has consistently championed innovation—across the battlefield, boardroom, and beyond. At every stage of his career, he has pushed the boundaries of conventional thinking to create lasting impact through strategic foresight, spiritual depth, and a deep sense of purpose.
Military Innovation: Dialogue Over Destruction
During his military service in insurgency-affected Northeast India, Colonel Tewari implemented a groundbreaking psychological warfare strategy that prioritized dialogue, empathy, and emotional intelligence over force. This human-centered approach fostered peace and reconciliation in some of the most volatile conflict zones—laying the foundation for long-term stability and community rebuilding.
His experience in frontline military operations, where he closely witnessed the fragility of life, deeply shaped his belief in the power of inner transformation over external control.
Corporate Leadership: Strategy Meets Sustainability
In his corporate journey, Colonel Tewari brought military precision and moral clarity to leadership roles at Tata Power, Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, and DLF. Here, he drove pioneering CSR and sustainability projects that combined environmental responsibility with inclusive growth.
Whether leading energy transitions, initiating resource-based conflict resolution in remote areas, or embedding sustainability into real estate ecosystems, he remained committed to innovation as a driver of both profit and purpose.
Positive Psychology & Conflict Transformation
Following his advanced studies in Peace and Conflict Management at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, Colonel Tewari delved into Positive Psychology (PP) as a tool for conflict transformation. Drawing on his battlefield experiences, he reimagined conflict resolution using compassion, resilience, and psychological insight rather than confrontation.
His case studies on PP and Conflict Transformation have been featured in Harvard Business Review, Indian Institutes of Management, and the European Case Clearing House, influencing academia and practitioners worldwide.
Thought Leadership: Bridging Indian Philosophy & Positive Psychology
In his current work, Colonel Tewari seeks to integrate Indian Philosophy (IP) into modern psychological frameworks. He argues that while Western Positive Psychology views human potential as an evolutionary outcome from animal origins, Indian thought sees humans as divine beings—an embodiment of Sat (Existence), Chit (Consciousness), and Ananda (Bliss).
His mission is to shape a new paradigm that combines evidence-based science with spiritual authenticity, offering a richer understanding of happiness, meaning, and resilience.
Sustainability in Action: Living the Vision
Innovation, for Colonel Tewari, is not just professional—it’s personal.
His eco-conscious home is a model of green living:
Powered by solar energy
Equipped with rainwater harvesting systems
Functioning on a near zero-waste framework
He remains deeply engaged with frontier environmental areas like carbon capture, circular economy, and policy formulation—pushing the boundaries of what ethical, sustainable leadership can look like in the 21st century.
Indigenous Wisdom, Global Relevance
Having worked with tribal communities across Northeast India, Africa, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, he is now championing the preservation and global integration of indigenous knowledge systems. These communities, often overlooked, hold critical insights into resilience, sustainability, and spiritual harmony—values the modern world urgently needs to reclaim.
🇮🇳 The Indian Narrative: Rooted & Rising
Colonel Tewari is committed to advancing an authentic, evidence-based Indian narrative—one that reflects the civilizational depth, intellectual integrity, and global relevance of Indian thought. Through research, writing, and public dialogue, he is helping shape a transnational corpus of knowledge that presents India not just as a nation, but as a philosophy of life.
