Family
Colonel Prakash Tewari hails from a family deeply rooted in academics, spirituality, and lifelong learning. He grew up in an environment that celebrated education, intellectual curiosity, and meaningful dialogue—values that profoundly influenced his personal and professional journey.
He has three sisters. His eldest sister retired as the Head of the Department of History at the University of Hyderabad, and her husband served as a plant pathologist with ICRISAT, Hyderabad. His late second sister was associated with the medical field through her husband, an interventional radiologist based in Australia. His youngest sister, a homemaker, is married to an electrical engineer who retired as CEO of the Adani Group in Ahmedabad.
Colonel Tewari's extended family includes scholars, educators, and professionals across diverse fields, creating a rich environment of books, learning, and thoughtful conversation. This early exposure to knowledge and spiritual values nurtured his enduring love for reading and writing—an interest that began in childhood and has remained a cornerstone of his life.
